Pumpkin Carving 2008!
Well I can say we are officially becoming adults with this years carving craft time. I arrived with Justin to a parking lot of strollers outside of Mark & Mary's door! Remember when it used to be recycling bags full of old wine bottles?
None the less it was great fun having the kiddies experience pumpkin carving although they were more interested in playing the guitar or gnawing on chew toys (poor Bea is teething!). Alistair kept busy with his one man band ( I think I may buy him knee cymbals for Christmas) while we carved and drank away. I made an owl this year- Thanks Martha Stewart! Justin, a first timer to our soiree, made a sad punkin. Reflecting the economy Giunta?
Beatrice made two costume changes, well kind of. She sported a Princess Leah head piece early in the evening and throughout the night was disguised as Diana Vreeland whenever I felt the whim. That's my girl!
We wrapped it up about 11pm and I headed out with Ian at midnight yawning and passing out with Owl in hand. Damn we are getting old.
