Saint Petersburg Day Two-Palace Mania

It is interesting (and astonishing) to note that most of these palaces in the countryside are new.
They were all bombed to bits during the war.
Note the curved hallway in Gatchina that has yet to be rebuilt to it's former glory.

Also note the portrait of Czar Nicholas the II on horseback. The uniform he is wearing has been preserved in the case next to the painting. Me wanty!
